Tales From the Museum & a Paranormal Investigation

Curious about the scariest stories, the weirdest artifacts and the most jaw-dropping occurrences? Chris Soucy dives into the deep, the unbelievable and the paranormal of the museum. Then the lights go down and the investigation begins.

We'll split into two groups: one investigates the Savannah Paranormal Museum while the other investigates the Ghostlight Theater, and after 30 minutes the groups swap. Expect to use real investigation equipment, witness Estes Method sessions, and help us find out whether the theater is haunted too.

January · Fresh from the Edinburgh Fringe

Bella

Hot off a five-star world premiere run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland, JinHi Soucy Rand returns to Savannah to perform her solo play Bella for three performances only. Fast-paced, poignant and at times hilarious, it's a story of survival, resilience, perseverance and identity across a lifetime of trying to make it as an actor, in days when it seems against all odds.

“Told with humour and sass and without self-pity, this is the tale of someone who, despite it all, has followed her dream to walk the stage and help others to do the same. Inspiring and moving.”
  • When: January 8 & 9, 2027 at 7pm · January 10 at 3pm
  • Where: The Ghostlight Theater, 415 W. Boundary Street, Savannah

Why a Ghost Light

Leaving a single bulb burning onstage after everyone else has gone home is an enduring tradition in theater. Part practicality, to ensure safety in the dark. Part superstition, to appease the ghosts of the theater.

We seek to honor both practices. We will be a beacon in the dark, a safe harbor for artists to express themselves, and a home to stories that we burn to tell. We will also seek out the shadows, share paranormal encounters, tales, and visions alongside the Savannah Paranormal Museum.

We will keep the ghost light lit.

Meet the Owners

The Ghostlight Theater is run by husband and wife Chris Soucy and Megan Jones, who also own the Savannah Paranormal Museum right next door.

Chris Soucy
Writer · Director · Actor

A true renaissance man of the theater, Chris writes, directs and performs, and he adapted our inaugural show, Poe's The Tell-Tale Heart, for the stage.

Megan Jones
Entrepreneur · Photographer · Experience Coordinator

A born entrepreneur, Megan owns Savannah Glamour, a portrait studio for women, and co-owns the Savannah Paranormal Museum and The Ghostlight Theater with Chris.

Every Ghost Needs a Home to Haunt

That's the whole idea behind the light we leave on. It's also why this stage isn't only ours. When we're not running our own shows, The Ghostlight Theater is available to community groups and anyone else who has a story that needs a room to be told in.

Tell us a little about what you have in mind and we'll be in touch.
